Golf vacation in the Basque Country
The Basque Country as a playground
The Basque Country has that rare gift of delighting the eyes, the palate, and the spirit all at once. With its breathtaking landscapes and exceptional culinary culture, only one thing was missing to make it the ideal playground for golfers: courses that live up to the occasion. That has now been achieved. At Parc Victoria in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we’ve created an experience that combines sport, gastronomy, and the Basque art of living —without ever having to choose.

Stay, dance, and enjoy
Our golf package includes 7 nights in a room at Parc Victoria, with a buffet breakfast each morning to start your day off right—by the pool, on the sunny terrace, or inside our restaurant. In the evenings, two dinners are included at Jatera! restaurant, offering a culinary immersion in Basque culture.
As for the courses, four green fees per person are included: two at Chantaco Golf Club and two at Arcangues Golf Club.
Swing your way through two exceptional golf courses
Chantaco: The Nobility of Basque Golf
Chantaco Golf Course is, above all, a story. Founded in 1928, this 18-hole course nestled among the hills of Saint-Jean-de-Luz welcomed European aristocracy and some of the biggest names in world golf. Its pink castle overlooking the green gives it a unique, almost timeless charm. The fairways wind through oak and pine trees in absolute tranquility, just minutes from the Atlantic. Playing at Chantaco is as much a historical experience as it is a sporting pleasure.
Arcangues: a breathtaking view
The Arcangues Golf Course offers a completely different setting. Perched high in the Basque Country, between the ocean and the foothills of the Pyrenees, this course is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views. At every hole, the view stretches far into the distance—to the Atlantic on sunny days, to snow-capped peaks on clear days. The undulating, technical terrain rewards both precision and boldness. A course that stays with you long after the final putt.
A culinary getaway around Jatera!
Golf works up an appetite, and the Basque Country is one of the best regions in France to satisfy it. At Parc Victoria, the Jatera! restaurant celebrates Basque local produce with genuine creativity: fish from the Atlantic, market-fresh vegetables, and cheeses from mountain shepherds. The two dinners included in the package are the perfect opportunity to discover this restaurant’s culinary delights after a day spent on the greens.
After the swing, it's time to relax
Between matches, Parc Victoria the perfect place to relax. The hotel is nestled in lush greenery in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, just a short walk from downtown and the famous bay. The pool, tucked away in a well-tended garden planted with Mediterranean flora, invites you to relax after a day of activity. The green spaces surrounding the property create an atmosphere of a secluded, almost secret resort.
Mornings start off gently around the breakfast buffet, and evenings naturally stretch out at Jatera!, with a drink in hand, in the warmth of a beautiful Basque day.
